Important news regarding 2012 garden
openings
We are at last having a conservatory built during the summer of
2012. The building works will substantially impact on access to the
gardens, the toilets and there will be no facilities for teas as
the pergola is being removed. For these reasons, and having regard
to health and safety considerations we will not be having any
visitors to the Gardens from May to July. It should be possible to
take bookings for visits during August and September and if you
would like to arrange a visit then please get in touch by e-mail or
phone. As usual all our openings are for the charities supported by
The National Gardens Scheme. Please also note that there will be no
Open Day in 2012.
The garden nursery however will not be affected by the building
works and will be open from May owards for the sale of our usual
range of dead common, interesting, rare and unusual plants. As we
do not have fixed opening hours please contact us before visiting
to ensure that we will be at home when you would wish to visit
